Taekwondo for Everyone

Taekwondo for Everyone

The Be Taekwondo syllabus is designed to create a well-rounded martial artist that ends up with a black belt that is certified by Kukkiwon, the global governing body that oversees taekwondo standards, excellence, and learning.

Tiny Tots & Atoms Curriculum
The Tiny Tots (3-4 years old) & Atoms (5-6 years old) curriculum is all about teaching children the basics of taekwondo in a fun, supportive environment. Students learn basic stances, blocks, kicks and punches - but most importantly they become more aware of their body, of others, respect, discipline, perseverance and self-control.

Comets & Stars
Comets (7-10 years old) and Stars (11-13 years old) curriculum is all about general taekwondo instruction that’s suitable for their ages. Children learn everything from the basics (stances, blocks, kicks, punches, self-defence & theory), including Poomsae - an essential requirement for grading. Here, the tenants of taekwondo are taught throughout all lessons: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. Students may get special invitation to participate in performance programs in either Poomsae or Sparring.

Seniors
The Senior Curriculum is designed to create black belts that are life-long learners who seek excellence in all they do, inside and outside of taekwondo. The Senior Curriculum is an in-depth syllabus that captures all aspects of taekwondo; traditional taekwondo, Olympic sport sparring, self-defence, breaking, theory. Students from seniors are also presented with opportunities to pursue things additional opportunities, such as refereeing (Sparring), judging (Poomsae), coaching, and further learnings through Kukkiwon.
